Field Report: April 4

The team on site here in N.Y. is now up to three. I am anticipating three shipments totaling almost 4000 lunches coming this week, and I have places to go with all of them. I have made contact with the field hospital in Central Park and am hoping to give them some food also. It’s crazy how dead everything is, drove thru Times Square without stopping at all.

I had a really blessed experience today when we visited the one pastor here. I told them of my fear and anxiety and they prayed over us and I could feel a change in my spirit. When we had arrived there the weather was gloomy and dreary, but when we stepped outside afterwards, the sun was shining and it was a glorious day. It represented the spirit change that had occurred.

The pastor’s wife also gave us the analogy that her friend told her, There are gloves and masks littering the streets in some areas, and if you look down that’s all you see. But in most parts of the city if you look up, the cherry blossoms are blooming and it’s beautiful. Soseeing the beauty all depends where your focus is!!
