Field Report: April 12

Great sadness at one of the hospitals we are delivering to as one of the surgeons contracts the coronavirus and dies.

Many EMS and healthcare workers expressing thankfulness for the lunch boxes.  They are a full, nutritious meal that is easy to grab and take with them.

Krissy King, a Christian friend in Queens living not far from Elmhurst hospital, shared the following:

At noon I met Kendal to deliver to our local elderly care center. My friend Ellie was so grateful. She said that many of the workers and residents are sick. She has been working 12-14 hours a day. A few nurses came by to pick them up as they were leaving their shift while I was there and expressed enthusiastic "thank you's"! The lunchboxes are very neat and look so nutritious and yummy. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing kindness and cheer with our neighborhood!

I am continually amazed at what can be accomplished when selfless people of integrity work together towards a common cause.  May God be glorified and His kingdom strengthened during this time.
